On my birthday, my hubs was all set to take me out on the town. But, I wanted to stay home and redo the buffet in our great room. It’s been driving me crazy for. like. ever. Do you have that piece of furniture that you want to stick out on the curb? This was it for me. No matter how I arranged the shelves, it always looked terrible. So, I made the hard decision and took off the beautiful doors, painted it a light, fresh neutral so I could change it up for the seasons.
This before picture is totally embarrassing. I didn’t realize how awful it looked. ugh.
I’m sorry buffet about all the things I thought about you. I’m glad I didn’t put you out on the curb. You are beautiful! 🙂
I used 1 quart that JUST BARELY covered the entire thing with two coats. It was Behr Premium Plus in Minimum Beige, $ 15 at Home Depot. Everything else I already had. I took the opportunity to clean out and get rid of the hodge-podge of things that I had collected and never used. #youarewelcomegoodwill
While we painted, we listened to Jerry Seinfeld & Jim Gaffigan on Pandora, and a great interview by of Dr. Kevin Leman talking about parenting your powerful child on Moody Radio. It was hilarious and oh so good!
