So much for “downward facing dog”! Exercise, schmexercise! It’s a battle and you’ve gotta find what works for you. I feel so much better when I exercise. If I don’t do it first thing in the morning, I usually can find a million reasons to avoid it later on…and end up feeling like the picture above! If you are like me and always battling to get in a daily workout, I wanted to share one of my favorites with you, the Yoga Studio app for iPad.
One beautiful way to start your day is by doing a little yoga. I don’t usually go to a studio and I hate messing with DVD’s…so what’s a girl to do? I found The Yoga Studio app for iPad and it is awesome. It does cost, but it is so worth it! (I can name on one hand the number of apps I have paid for, but this one is definitely well worth the $3.99!)
The Yoga Studio App allows you to choose workouts at different levels, time periods & workout focus. So, if you are just starting out, you can choose a beginner workout. You might want to work on your flexibility but you only have 15 minutes to work out. Anything is better than nothing! Choose the Beginner Level, Flexibility for 15 min workout. Or, if you are a professional yogi master, choose the Advanced, Balance for an hour. It’s totally flexible and up to you. You only pay once and they keep updating and adding new workouts.
I am by no means a “yogi”, but I have improved. My balance & flexibility is better. And, I can do a killer “downward facing dog”. 🙂 just sayin’…sorry Winston!
