Before I had kids…I had intelligent thoughts. I really did! After I had kids, I feel like my brain fell out the window. I think it all had to do with how little I was able to read (oh yea, & sleep). It makes sense that all reading ceased. But, I dreamed of reading. I salivated over the idea of sitting in a coffee shop, reading and sipping.
And then, I discovered audiobooks and my life changed.
- When I cook, I read.
- When I walk my dog, I read.
- When I am falling asleep at night, I read.
- When I drive, I read.
Do you have any idea how many books my kids and I have read, just having audiobooks going in the car at all times? probably millions. 🙂
Audible.com & audiobooks, in general, changed my life. If you miss books, like I did, this might be the ticket.
My Favorite Books I Have Read on Audible.com:
The jury is still out on both of these books, as I am in the middle of both of them.
I love any and all books on the holocaust and this seems pretty good.
This book is not really 59.00 if you have an Audible.com membership. It is just one credit. By the way, this is a pretty dry read and super long. If you are not into historical reads, this may not be for you. This is my going to sleep book and it works perfectly.
Sign up for Audible.com if you love reading like I do! At the time of this writing, it is $14.95 a month. It’s a great way to get some reading into your day.
