We are heading out for vacation tomorrow. I was planning on whipping up a batch of delicious oatmeal raisin cookies until I realized, I have no eggs. So, I opted for No-Bake Cookies (and thankfully, no egg!). As I was making them, my daughter says, “One of these days, mom, you are going to have to teach me how to make No-Bake Cookies.” Thank you, Bella, for the recipe idea for this weeks’ Kid’s Cooking School!
Do I need to even convince you how delicious and sinfully horrible these are? Here is a foolproof recipe with a couple additions just to keep things sassy. 😉 Your kids might turn up their noses at the espresso in the optional ingredients, but let me tell you, I add that it everything chocolate that I cook. It makes the chocolate more chocolately! My kids now know, it’s the secret sauce! 😉 I add the cinnamon for health…like that is going to overcompensate for the 2 cups of sugar. lol And, the PB2 is the powdered peanut butter that will just add a more pronounced peanut buttery-taste. Yum!
